Gary Ghareeb shared his love of the First Michigan Native Americans to Dresden's Third Grade Classes. He talked to the students about the the lives and struggles of Michigan Native American tribes. The students were able to relive a bit of Native American culture by handling artifacts such as animal pelts and tools, they got to play with toys, and were even able to try on jewelry and clothes.
The students loved hearing the many stories and being able to step back into time as part of their curriculum!
